Re: "Orthodox Christianity has never asked us to believe something that contradicts facts, history, or logic", my understanding is that Cardinal Nicolas of Cusa, Italy, in the 1400s, along with some colleagues, introduced the ideas of Science and republican government of, by and for the people, based on inspiration from the Bible and those ideas caught on, but the ruling class has been trying to stop them ever since.

Have you discussed the shroud of Turin? https://acts15church.substack.com/p/the-evidence

I have a question for everyone.

What's hard to believe in the Christian Bible? Please comment at https://acts15church.substack.com/p/hard-to-believe

Thank you. G'Day

I have looked into the shroud on and off, but I have no solid opinion on it, and have not written on it.

Thank you for sharing links. I have not yet visited your site.

The resurrection is something that would be harder to believe, for me, if there weren't such physical evidence for it. The mainstream tried to disprove it initially, but when the better evidence came out, they seem to have mostly ignored it. I hope I get some discussion on what's hard to believe in the Bible. I don't believe a lot of what mainstream Christians believe, but I consider myself Christian nonetheless, as I think my views are more in line with what Jesus really meant. I think the End Times for the Beast are quickly approaching. Right?

I'll be writing about that in a couple months, I think. Maybe?
